Butting in here, I don’t think people realise, the scenario over in Japan is going to get much worse before it starts improving – dangerous nuclear power problems, 20% permanent loss of electricity generation too as those stations most likely won’t be coming back online ever again… Japan’s going to very much feel these things and for a long time too.

All the problems we’re facing from solar flares are really a consequence of our trying to override nature instead of accepting it and trying to work with it. I mean, who’s more powerful, us or the sun? Unequal contest, no?
